This month's Tips and Tricks...

How many times have you wanted to save a document but did not want to have all the formatting that came along with it? Here's a quick tip for when you want to remove all those formats. Here

We have a couple of more quick tips for you...Check them all out Here

Software Review... Here's a question for you: When you're typing , how many times do you accidentally hit the Caps Lock key on your keyboard? Well, If you're like me it probably happens more than I'd like to remember. So, this month we are introducing a little program that can 'lock out' that annoying problem.  Check it out HERE

Final thought... Every once in a while I hear of someone who has lost files because of a computer miss-hap or virus attack. The sad news is that they did not have any backups of their files and are heartbroken over all they lost. In past issues of eNews I have written about the importance of taking the time to backup, if not your entire computer at least your personal files.
Many of our students are still not comfortable with the task of backing up their entire system and yet have not made an attempt to, at the least, backup files or folders of treasured photos or documents.
It is not difficult to back up a single file or multiple folders. Windows XP provides a very easy to follow procedure for copying files to a CD, and for the few minutes required to complete the process it is a shame that so few take the time to do so. I've prepared a step by step procedure for copying files or folders to a CD using Windows XP. Check it out HERE.
Print the instructions and keep them handy for whenever you're ready to backup your files!

Until next time....
